Make Good Inc is a Los Angeles-based, non-profit organization that helps the needy, particularly children. They help by providing books and clothing for their respective needs, and they allow for those children to have a choice in what they receive, something that is not always a given considering their unfortunate living conditions. We had the pleasure of working with founder Ruth Stalford and her enthusiastic team in creating a beautiful-yet-informational video about what they do and what they wish to accomplish.
The video shows a plethora of images of the Make Good team in action throughout the city of LA, as well as video and sound bites giving more information about what is happening. Statistical cards are shown between segments to shine greater light on the realities of the impoverished out there.
The editing team here at DVideo Productions was hard at work in relaying the company’s message, in collaboration with Stalford. Accompanying music helped bring these video and audio segments to life, further engaging the viewer. The NLE software-of-choice was Adobe Premiere Pro, with its user-friendly tools allowing the editors to maximize creativity and efficiency, and creating a great product.
It was an honor to work with Ruth and her team. This not-for-profit’s main goal is to make the world a better and more inclusive place, and the action they take certainly helps to do just that. It didn’t matter that they were based on the other end of the country - we were able to be of help! And to even be a small part of their large mission was certainly gratifying for our team.
