Dr. Helaine Smith from Pound Ridge Cosmetic Dentistry is one of the most respected doctors in her field, and she is particularly renowned in Westchester County, NY and the surrounding area. We had the pleasure of working with her on a previous project 2 years ago, and she approached us again to make two new videos geared towards social media. One video is focused on safety practices in the era of COVID, and the other specifies her work with veneers. The creative team at DVideo Productions was eager to jump in!
Pound Ridge Cosmetic Dentistry - COVID Safety Video
Following pre-production and internal collaboration, a small camera crew was sent over to film in Dr Smith’s office in Pound Ridge, NY. With everybody masked up and socially distant per the CDC’s guidelines, the shoot was completed succinctly and successfully. The main camera of use was a Panasonic UX90, with additional B-Roll shot using a gimbal. With a plethora of shots from many different angles, the remote post-production team was given plenty to work with.
The editing process primarily consisted of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Additionally, DaVinci Resolve was used to color grade the footage, and LUTs from the software were transferred over to Premiere Pro into the main edits. It was important to have two distinctive and concise edits for Dr. Smith to work with, and the end result was clean and professional. She was thrilled with the final product!

The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for many small businesses, and customers as a result have hesitancies to buy from certain industries. But in making these videos that detail how companies have evolved with the times, clients can be assured of their safety as we head into the backend of this global event.
